Hey y’all, I’m Kim! I’m a city girl with a Southern accent and a 100-year-old soul. I love God, nature, fishing, junkin’, road trips, and being a momma! I’m just a simple girl making my way through a crazy life.

I understand life can be difficult, but I’m here to show that with a little faith and a big God, good days are possible. Your life may look nothing like you thought it would, but there’s hope.

A Simple Little Pearl is my way of encouraging you to embrace the process of becoming exactly who you were created to be just as a pearl does. Over time, tiny particles enter an oyster shell and slowly weld together piece by piece until a pearl is created. What once was an irritant to the oyster is now its treasure. A pearl is a treasure formed by nature. It doesn’t have to be polished or chiseled. Its beauty comes purely from its process.

Just like you. You, girl, are a pearl.

You are a treasure formed by “nature”. Every circumstance of your life has come together and made you uniquely beautiful. Yes, you are beautiful! You are a beautiful creation formed by a beautiful Creator to live a beautiful life. 

Nothing that happens to us gets wasted. I was told once, “You can’t control what happens to you, but you can control how you handle it.” Let me just say, I haven’t always handled things well, but I’m just a pearl in process. I don’t have all the answers, but I do have the One that matters. Yes, I mean Jesus. He has walked with me throughout my life, and whether you believe it or not, He’s been with you too. 

So join me in walking this life out together. Ya never know where we’ll end up!
