Have you ever wondered what else is going to have to happen in this world in order for Jesus to return and take us all away to Glory Land?!?

Regardless of what you believe, we can agree that this world has lost its ever-lovin’ mind! One terrible thing after another keeps being dumped into our laps, and I am DONE with it! Jesus, take the wheel, the world, and just drive us home already!

I know, I know, but until then, we gotta be His light!

What I love and don’t love about The Bible is its honesty. We know from reading His Word that trials are promised. Hardship and struggle are promised. Persecution is promised, and what we, His children, have been instructed to do through it all is rejoice!

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” - James 1:2

“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.” - 1 Peter 1:6

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” - Matthew 5:11-12

Those scriptures are really hard to read. None of us wants to struggle, but we will. And even though I don’t like the part of those scriptures that say trials and persecution will come, what I have learned to love about them is the part that tells us to be glad and rejoice. Here’s why: because if God’s Word is telling us to rejoice and be glad, that means we can.

Yes! We can be right smack dab in the middle of a trial and be glad about it. Yay! I mean, it’s what it says, so it has to be true! And ya wanna know why we can be glad??

“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” - Romans 5:3-5

Yes! Struggle makes us stronger. I know I’m throwing a lot of Bible at ya today, but to be honest, it’s the only way I am able to make it through all this chaos. I mean, if you’re not reading the Bible, I don’t know how you're doin’ it!

We can’t get caught up in what’s happening in this world and fall apart. The Body of Christ needs to come together now more than ever and be a united front against the kingdom of darkness. It’s literally why we are on this planet!

We can’t allow ourselves to fall into the enemy’s deceptions and allow him to divide the Church over a Super Bowl performance. No. We have to remember our cause. Our cause is to share Jesus!

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." - Mark 16:15

That’s it! Share the Gospel, not opinions. Read what the Bible says and share that. Live by that and don’t get all bothered when the world comes at you with its nonsense. It’s guaranteed it will come at you! It is written. What’s also written is how you should respond.

Rejoice.

We know this world is not our home. We are here for a minute to fulfill our purpose and then we gone! So stay focused. Keep the main thing the main thing. Don’t get sidetracked by the fluff and bunnies. Love Jesus. Spread His Life and love, and when He says it’s time to clock out, go home and live in eternal bliss for, well, eternity!

Because remember, no matter what happens in this world, Jesus ultimately overcame it all.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33

Now get back to work! ❤️
