I love trees.
I love the mystery of how they grow so big from just one single, tiny seed. When I would visit my Grandpa we would sit outside sometimes and he would say, “You see that leaf at the very top of that tree? That leaf gets as much water as these leaves at the bottom of the tree. Now how is that possible?” To which we both already know it’s just another one of God’s amazing miracles.
Recently, I was surrounded God’s amazing miracles. We took a family trip to Montana and boy howdy was it beautiful! The weather was cold, the wildlife was wild, and the mountains were enormous. It was a far cry from Texas, for sure. Here are a few things we saw:
Our first day in Montana we toured Yellowstone. We arrived Yellowstone at 10am and barely finished the Lower Loop by 7:30pm. There are so many stops and scenic areas to pull over and explore. Wildlife was everywhere and people would literally stop in the middle of the road to get pictures if they saw anything. We sat in a 30 minute traffic jam because 3 elk were on the side of the road, ugh.
Later that week, we went hiking through Ousel Falls Trail which was full of waterfalls. It was a fairly easy hike and there were a lot of places to climb and get in the water which was freezing! Montana did not disappoint when it came to God’s beauty and the weather was way better than our 100 degree weather we have had all summer in Texas. Over all it was a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to go!
