You’ve got big plans for your life, don’t you? Your dreams, goals, bucket lists have all been laid out and are just waiting to be to be completed. Awesome! Now all that is left to do is….give it all to God and say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”
Sounds crazy? Why?
There is so much the Lord has for His kiddos IF you will wait for Him. You have plans, but so does He. The Bible says His plans are WAY beyond what you have planned, but sometimes you have to wait. You have to be still, know He is God, and if He says something He is faithful to bring it to pass as He sees fit.
But what if God doesn’t give you what you want when you want it? Well, you will just have to get it by yourself, right?!
Wrong.
What you need to realize is that’s probably where you will end up, by yourself. Then you will blame others for your mistakes due to your own impatience, or better yet, blame God.
The awesome thing about God is He sees everything. He sees the past, the present, the future, the unseen hearts and thoughts of people, and the dangers of letting something happen too soon. God knows the desires of your heart and He knows how to make them happen and last. He loves you too much to let things happen before it’s time causing you to crash and burn.
God has been handling life for a long time and He will make happen what is supposed to happen when it is supposed to happen. Just stand, wait, and watch as God works it out! He won’t forget about you, I promise. So lift those hands up to the Lord and say “Not my will, but Yours be done!”
Then, fly free like the eagles!
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”
Isaiah 40:31
